Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Air Transport Management​

Cranfield is an exclusively postgraduate university that is a global leader for education and transformational research in technology and management.
The Centre for Air Transport Management is looking for a new Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join this growing and enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will teach and assess a diverse student cohort and supervise research projects as part of the MSc programmes in Air Transport Management and in Airport Planning & Management in Cranfield and also at locations in Singapore and Oman. They will also contribute to our high-quality research and consultancy work as well as continuing professional development short courses for industrial clients.

A PhD is typically expected for this position, however applications will be accepted from those who hold at least a postgraduate degree (for example, MSc Air Transport Management, MBA, MSc Aeronautical Engineering) in a field related to air transport management (with a preferred focus on the economics and/or finance of airlines/airports) along with demonstrable relevant experience of air transport management.

For appointment at the senior lecturer level, applicants must be able to demonstrate sustained achievement as an expert in their field and the ability to play an active ambassadorial role for the University which may include keynote or invited presentations or chairing sessions at international conferences.
