Salary: UE08 - £39,992 to £47,722 
UE09 - £50,618 to £56,950

We are now investing to strengthen and deepen our coverage of Mechanical Engineering by appointment to: Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Additive Manufacturing.

The successful candidate will be internationally prominent in Additive Manufacturing or will demonstrate strong potential to be so. They will lead related research within the School, winning substantial external research funding. The Institute for Materials and Processes (IMP) has been building up the research portfolio in polymers, metals and metal alloys, fibre-reinforced composites, nano- and multi-functional materials. IMP also has a vibrant collaborative research portfolio with other institutes in the School and it is envisaged that the new post-holder will build on this strong research programme in the development of bespoke materials for additive manufacturing processes.

The level of appointment for the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer post will be determined by the selection panel.
