The Department of Psychology at Durham University is looking to recruit a Teaching Fellow for a fixed-term period of 18 months, starting 8th January 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position will involve delivery of teaching and assessment, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, across the breadth of the discipline. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at both our Durham City campus and at Queen’s campus.

This post is to cover the teaching responsibilities of an academic staff member who has left the university. This post is therefore for a fixed term of 18 months and it is not anticipated that the post will be extended beyond this fixed term.

The post of Teaching Fellow will involve a significant teaching load, including during the summer period, and there may be related scholarship and the opportunity for administrative duties which relate to education and pedagogy. The Teaching Fellow will be free to follow their research interests where other duties allow but research activity is not part of the job description.
