The busy Admissions office is based within The Registry and deals with all enquires and applications to our undergraduate, postgraduate, foundation programmes and PGCE Teaching courses.
This role will be responsible for the effective and efficient admission of students to undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses, Teacher Training programmes and Foundation degrees.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team player with proven administrative experience, able to work on their own initiative and organise a busy workload.
Other responsibilities include planning, supervision and implementation of an effective admissions process; efficient registration of students and maintaining a good knowledge of changes to Admissions within UK Higher Education.
You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent customer service, good IT skills and strong oral and written communication skills. You will be highly organised and have the ability to priorities and meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Working closely with other colleagues and leading on UK and non-UK admissions, and help with the overall success of the Admissions Office.
