The Faculty of Education Health and Wellbeing is seeking to appoint a new Director of Teaching Excellence to lead teaching and learning excellence across a range of academic disciplines, from nursing to sport and social care. The appointee will be responsible for leading initiatives associated with the NSS, the student lifecycle and quality enhancement and lead on programme review and development.
The successful candidate will have a Doctorate and a track record of academic achievement in one or more of the fields within the Faculty. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience of quality enhancement, relevant external engagement and excellence in teaching and assessing enhancement in higher education. An excellent communicator, s/he will possess ability to build effective performance focussed teams and inspire confidence and build rapport with all stakeholders, especially students.
