The Assistant Registrar for Analysis and Strategic Planning supports the teaching mission of Boston University by accessing, analyzing, and reporting data relevant to the scheduling goals and policies of Boston University. The incumbent reports to the Associate Registrar for Classroom Management and conducts and documents compliance analysis audits of departments schedules and analyzes and presents scheduling statistics to the University Registrar, departments, and executive leadership on a routine or as requested basis. The Assistant Registrar works closely with Enrollment and Student Services, academic departments, Facilities Management and Planning, and other BU faculty and staff to ensure that the classroom inventory and schedule meets the pedagogic needs of faculty and learning needs of students. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication and organizational skills, experience with social media and web editing, demonstrated customer service skills, a collaborative management style, and demonstrated ability to resolve difficult situations. The Assistant Registrar will demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Experience with BU Student Information Systems and 25Live a plus.
Bachelor's degree required; masters degree preferred. Three to five years of experience.
