The School of Science and Technology comprises subject disciplines including Biomedical Science, Physics and Electronics, Chemistry, Human Biology and Physiology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Mathematics, Pharmacy, Exercise and Sport Science, Statistics and Computer Science. The School conducts teaching and research through an exciting range of undergraduate, honours, and postgraduate courses and research degrees by dissertation within these disciplines. These courses are offered via on campus and flexible online education modes.

About the role

Growth in the new areas of Exercise and Sport Science at UNE offers students exciting programs of study including an Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) accredited degree. An opportunity exists for an accredited exercise physiologist to oversee the development and delivery of the practicum programs within the Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and the Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology.

It is expected that the individual will maintain active clinical practice as an accredited exercise physiologist external to this role.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills to effectively liaise between students, discipline staff and placement supervisors and, whom is passionate about the industry and applying their clinical experience towards curricula development. If are a clinically active accredited exercise physiologist with experience in supervising students and placement coordination, we would be interested in hearing from you. A demonstrated capacity in curriculum development would be favourably regarded.
