The School of Psychology is one of the most prestigious schools of psychology in Australia, and its strong reputation is built on excellence in both research and teaching. The School has thriving and dynamic research profiles in almost all areas of psychology, and is able to attract visitors from overseas and other institutions in Australia. It possesses good links, often through cross-appointed staff, with other schools in the University, thus creating opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborative research.
The successful applicant will teach undergraduate courses (specifically PSYC4121 The Scientist-Practitioner Model and PSYC3282 Developmental Perspectives on the Origins of Human Culture) and supervise students at honours level. The appointee will also undertake independent research, and make a contribution to the governance of the School.
Applicants should have a PhD in Psychology, experience teaching psychology at tertiary level, and the ability to supervise honours students. You will have the ability to pursue a productive program of research and publish research outcomes in high quality outlets.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
This position is full-time, fixed term for one year at Academic level B. The remuneration package will be in the range $92,142 - $109,419 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of 9.5% (total package will be in the range $100,896 - $119,814 p.a.).
