Museum Administration Officer
MOD. at the University of South Australia will be Australia’s leading future-focused museum, provoking new ideas at the intersection of science, art and innovation. MOD. aims to inspire young adults aged 15+ about science and technology with dynamic, changing exhibition programs, showcasing how research shapes our understanding of the world to inform future possibilities. MOD. will open its doors in the new UniSA Health Innovation Building in mid-2018.
About the Job
An exciting opportunity exists for an Administration Officer to provide support for administration, financial processing and marketing implementation for MOD. In your role, you will support the delivery of marketing activities including updates for web and social media, provide administrative and office support to the MOD. Director and team, implement financial and approval processes and support commercial operations including venue hire and the shop.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have post-secondary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in an administrative role including financial support. You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience in relationship building along with an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Project management skills including time management and attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to write and edit for different channels is essential for this role.
