The Role and Your Responsibilities

The Research Administration Assistant is responsible for providing high quality administrative and event logistics support for the research centres within the school of GUSS.

You will assist the Public Engagement and Communications Officer in the overall coordination of events and seminars for GUSS research centres and higher degree by research events.

Skills & Experience Required

The successful candidate will have experience in events management in a large diverse organisation and/or a completed tertiary degree in a relevant field. You will demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will have the ability to use initiative, prioritise and meet competing deadlines, and effectively manage varying workloads.

Experience in events management within research in tertiary institutions would be highly regarded.
