About the job 

An exciting opportunity exists for an early career researcher to join the School of Health Sciences to undertake research activities related to a NHMRC funded project: Active Team – Examining an online social networking intervention to increase physical activity in controlled (RCT) and ecological settings. 

You will analyse and report on results from a large-scale mHealth RCT currently underway, produce research publications, contribute to the planning and delivery of an upcoming ecological trial of the smartphone app, and contribute to future funding applications. 

Skills and Experience 

To be successful, you will either be currently completing your PhD or have recently completed your PhD in either a health, population health, epidemiology or psychology discipline, combined with high level organisational skills to manage competing project timelines. Your strong written and verbal communication skills will allow you contribute to preparing and authoring high-quality research publications, as well as engage with multiple consumers and stakeholders.
