The role and your responsibility
The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Administration Officer supports first class WIL and mobility experiences for GUSS students across all programs, modes and locations in a small team. As the ideal candidate, you will be a dynamic administrator who delivers exceptional customer service and provides timely and accurate information and advice to staff, students and external clients. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and will build close working relationships with staff ranging from senior academics to professional staff colleagues. You will have exceptional problem solving skills and strong initiative.
Skills and experience required
You will bring to the role experience in working accurately with detailed information and providing high-level administrative support within a university or similar large and complex organisation. Your expertise in the provision of customer service including sound knowledge and consistent application of policy and procedures and the ability to provide appropriate advice will be critical to your success in this role. Furthermore, key to this role will be your well-developed interpersonal and problem solving skills. Your ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the University, is essential.
A tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated experience in an administrative and customer service role in a complex organisation is preferred.
Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check.
