Going for Growth

Located within the area of Marketing, Student Recruitment and Channel Integration, the International Recruitment team is responsible for growth in new international student enrolments across a range of product portfolios. This growth will in turn drive growth in international revenue, across student segments, and widen and deepen Swinburne’s recruitment across key international markets.

This newly created role will support a team to take a focused conversation on our specific product portfolios to our global network of agency and academic partners. The position is tasked with effective liaison across a range of areas in the University to ensure opportunities for each product portfolio are maximized through effective channel engagement.

The Team Leader role will support 4 Recruitment Managers in newly created positions in organising global events with impact that enable face-to-face and digital engagement across wide geographies. Each reporting role has a specific Faculty or Divisional remit with clear accountability to grow recruitment across our academic product mix and across pathways, undergraduate and postgraduate student segments.

The Team Leader position will liaise across Recruitment, Marketing and Teaching areas to drive focused channel engagement offshore and digitally. The Team Leader will exercise business intelligence and business acumen to ensure our global channel engagement is focused, disciplined and successful.

In this role, your compelling and demonstrated communication skills and high level of organisational and business acumen will enable you to identify opportunities and drive recruitment across Swinburne's product portfolios.

In this position, you will be empowered to focus on markets and opportunity. Well supported by Regional colleagues who hold and support agency account management, you can direct your high levels of energy on delivering a compelling and passionate product conversation to our global agency and partner network. Well supported by Marketing colleagues who deliver rich content, you will deploy your expertise and communication skills in delivering our focused product messaging both to expert student counsellors and direct to prospective international students.

Your experience in the tertiary education sector and the complexity of academic pathways and product for international students will enable you to engage with authority and empathy. It is your passion, your business acumen, your energy and your ability to communicate with clarity and engage with authority, which will drive the strong growth we seek.
