The Simon Fellowship Scheme uses generous endowments to appoint Research Fellows in the area of Social Sciences.

Applications are invited for:

The Simon Early Career Research Fellowship: one post in any of the Social Sciences, broadly defined, tenable for three years from 1 September 2018. The fellowship is intended for outstanding early career researchers who have completed a doctoral degree and have already demonstrated a potential for research in relevant subject areas. You will receive research expenses of up to £1,000 per annum.

Interviews will be held on 22 March 2018. If you have not been contacted by the end of March, you must assume on this occasion that your application has been unsuccessful. Due to the volume of applications normally received it is not possible to provide feedback to unsuccessful applicants unless they are shortlisted for interview.

Please note that this Fellowship is not intended to support postgraduate students.
