This post will provide support to multi-disciplinary research projects within the Dept of Population Health Sciences, Bristol Medical School.
 
The main job purpose will be to provide clerical and administrative support, the primary part of which will be audio transcription, to two research programmes within the School: 1) The Biomedical Research Centre Surgical Innovation theme and 2) By-Band-Sleeve Gastric bypass, adjustable gastric banding or sleeve gastrectomy surgery to treat morbid obesity: a multi-centre randomised controlled trial.
 
You should have excellent audio transcription skills, communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, along with excellent organisational skills. You will also need a good level of GCSE’s or equivalent (English and Maths essential) and a good knowledge of Microsoft software.
