Manager in International Business Development
About the job
In this varied and exciting key leadership role, you will be responsible for the development of innovative recruitment strategies that increase the overall number of international students enrolled in the discipline areas of the UniSA Business School, including Commerce, Marketing, Management and Law. You will provide leadership and advice to the UniSA International senior leadership team on effective tactics and approaches to engage with potential students, and also drive business development in new markets that meet the University’s growth targets.
Frequent and extensive travel to interstate and international locations is a key requirement of the role, where you will ensure that UniSA is professionally represented and that external relationships are managed in a responsive manner.
Skills and Experience
You will be tertiary qualified in marketing or a related discipline, or demonstrate equivalent skills, knowledge and experience. You will have broad experience in the recruitment of international students, included demonstrated success in the deployment of recruitment activities and development of integrated partnerships with leading institutions.
You will also have experience in various aspects of project planning, including the development of plans, meeting objectives and milestones, and effective prioritisation of competing demands. Your highly developed relationship building skills, coupled with your ability to motivate and manage a small team with a customer service focus, will ensure your success in this role.
