The Murray Children's Centre has been operating since March 1995. The Centre complies with ACECQA national regulations, and is licensed for 72 places. Murray Children's Centre is dedicated to exemplary professional practice and ethical early childhood research. The Centre promotes the physical, social, emotional, cognitive and linguistic development of children and offers high quality care and education in a warm, inviting, secure environment. The Murray Children’s Centre programs are developed in recognition of flexibility required for meeting the individual needs of all children and their parents and carers.

The role of the Child Care Worker (Certificate III level) is responsible for providing assistance with the general care and education of children from 0 – 5 years old and working as a member of a co-operative team to provide a safe and nurturing environment.

You will have a genuine passion to providing care for children, to ensure their health and wellbeing and react quickly to respond to a child’s needs. You will be committed to providing a stimulating environment for young children, be able to communicate effectively with staff, children, their families and the wider community and be committed to your own ongoing development.

The Selection process for this position will include a pre-employment functional screening assessment.

This appointment will be conditional upon the successful applicant satisfying a Working with Children Check, in accordance with the Child Protection Act 1998.
