The Research Fellow will work with research teams and partnerships in the School and across RMIT. The Research Fellow is required to undertake research activities in line with the University's research strategy.
The successful candidate will carry out independent and/or team research which has a significant impact in the synthesis and application of porous inorganic materials and be acknowledged at a national level as being influential in expanding knowledge in materials chemistry.
The Research Fellow's role is primarily to plan, develop and engage in high quality research projects that are aligned with the University's research focus areas.
Skills & Experience Required
You will have an emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs which will contribute to the Advanced Materials Enabling Capability Platform, and existing Discipline (Chemistry) and School research areas evidenced by publications, development of new research initiatives, competitive research funding, and involvement in industry based projects. Evidence of experience in the chemical synthesis of porous inorganic materials and study of their application in the areas of photovoltaics, energy storage and photocatalysis will be essential to your success in the role.
