QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER
Salary range £34,000 – £38,000 per annum

Reporting to the Dean of Quality Assurance and Accreditation, the Quality Assurance Officer will support the Department of Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance (DAAQA) in its remit to ensure that Richmond documentation and procedures are in compliance with key external bodies and requirements. Key responsibilities includes assisting DAAQA and programme teams with the documentation involved in validations and revalidations, maintaining the external examiner and panel member register, providing proactive support during external and internal quality assurance reviews and to coordinate the course evaluation process, including distribution of results.
Previous experience working in a similar role at an institution of further or higher education is required. The ability to work well independently and as part of a team to produce work of a high standard to specific deadlines and at times under pressure is essential. Experience of committee servicing is required. Experience of experience of SQL is desirable. Knowledge or understanding of UK or US higher education quality assurance will be an advantage.
An undergraduate degree or equivalent working experience is required.
The Quality Assurance Officer will be based at the University’s Richmond Campus but may be required to work regularly from the University’s Kensington campus. The QA Officer may also need to occasionally travel to the University’s additional locations in Leeds, England and Florence and Rome, Italy.
