We are seeking a highly capable and enthusiastic individual to join our team and contribute to the BA Sports Coaching course in particular but also other Undergraduate and Partnership courses. Our courses have regularly achieved 100% overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey over recent years.

The post holder will be expected to take a lead role in the teaching delivery, partnership coordination and to undertake recruitment, supervision and enterprise activity. The successful candidate should complement our enthusiastic and friendly team. There is an opportunity in addition to teaching responsibilities for the post holder to develop a research profile within the area.

An ability to contribute to the Staffordshire Graduate and employability agendas will be welcome as would a willingness to contribute to other areas of the curriculum, such as research methods and professional development.

Applications are sought from team-orientated, flexible individuals with excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and presenting skills.  Applicants should have a first degree in a Sport management, policy or appropriate related area and hold a teaching qualification.

Experience of teaching and assessing in Higher Education is desirable. Also important will be experience with on-line teaching delivery systems (e.g. Blackboard).

An Enhanced DBS is required for this role.
