Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Pathology, to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences, Immunology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related disciplines. They should have a strong background with demonstrated experience in analysis molecular biology, flow cytometry analysis, mass spectrometry (metabolites), and/or animal handling experience. The appointee will join a dynamic research group with opportunities to conduct research projects related to metabolism or immunology of liver cancer. A main focus of the appointee’s work will be on delineating the metabolic program of liver cancer or examining the molecular basis of various immune checkpoints in liver cancer. He/she should also be self-motivated, and able to work independently while maintaining the smooth running of a research laboratory.
