The Faculty of Science unites the disciplines of agriculture, biological sciences, chemistry, earth sciences, food sciences, geography, marine science, maths and physics, planning, the environment and veterinary science. The units within the Faculty of Science are internationally recognised and their teaching and research successes create a stimulating environment within which the Faculty staff work.
The role works with the Associate Dean's (Academic) to plan and implement student engagement activities, frameworks to support students at risk academically and a science and maths leadership program. The role will also include undertaking analysis, design, development and project management for projects that enhance the ‘student experience’ in the Faculty of Science and coordinate, develop and review submissions and project proposals for initiatives that improve outcomes for the student experience.
The successful applicant will possess a bachelor and postgraduate qualification or a combination of relevant experience and/or education and training. You will have experience working with diverse student cohorts, demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience in the development, management and delivery of projects designed to improve the student experience within a higher education environment. The successful applicant will possess excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads, work independently and meet deadlines.
There are 2 positions available; 1 full time fixed term position of up to 3 years and one part time position of 0.60 FTE for a period of 7 months commencing early Jan 2018 at level hew 7 . The remuneration package will be in the range:
For full time position : $81,883.65 - $89,559.15 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $ 89,662.59 - $104,784.21 p.a.).
For Part Time position : $49,130 -$53,735 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $57,482 - $62,870 p.a.).
