About the job
The Business Partner is a member of the Business Partnerships team within Student and Academic Services. This position provides a key liaison point between the Student & Academic Services department and all Academic Units in the facilitation and fulfillment of service obligations.
This position has specific responsibility in relation to Vocational Education and Training compliance and reporting. The Business Partner is required provide authoritative advice and to develop, implement and review administrative policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
The Business Partner works closely with the senior management team within the Students portfolio and key business partner groups to lead and implement effective change, while developing staff capability and operations.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of client service functions, including a demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high quality services to a range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects, develop and implement quality assurance and contribute to strategic planning.
