Student Adviser (HEO 4)
About the Jobs
All three positions will be key contact points for different student cohorts (APP Metro, Online Foundation Studies and Regional College), and will have the responsibility to provide outstanding customer service to support positive learning outcomes and ultimately student retention. There will be a focus on proactive communications designed to increase student engagement and retention, and they will provide assistance on a range of student enquiries, including: enrollment, study support, student wellbeing, and administration. The role is responsible for meeting and exceeding measures of success related to retention and student satisfaction, and quality enquiry resolution.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will be a reliable and collaborative team player with a focus on positive client culture, and have experience in project coordination (including events, resources and administration). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including high levels of empathy displayed through excellent interpersonal and relationship building abilities and demonstrated research and analytical skills will ensure success in these positions. While a variety of administration skills and the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures are essential, knowledge of university program structure and foundation level counselling training will be highly regarded.
