Classification: Academic Level B
Salary package: $96,087 - $109,181 per annum, pro rata plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Fixed Term, 3 years, 2 days per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Classical Performance (Woodwind, 0.4 fraction) to join our faculty at ANU School of Music, playing a central role in delivering an excellent performance and research-based student experience. The successful candidate will have an internationalised career experience, will produce high quality research outputs, and will attract new students to the School in a rich academic and performance environment that emphasises real-world engagement.
The Australian National University offers diploma, bachelor, master and doctoral programs in Music, and engages in pure and applied research in Music, with strong professional outcomes. The School of Music offers undergraduate and Honours programmes with majors in performance, musicology, composition and music technology, with supervision in these fields at Masters and PhD levels, as well as Outreach programs through the Open School.
The Lecturer – Classical Performance (Woodwind) will perform duties related to classical music teaching, performance and outreach as directed.
