An Australian first, the newly created Faculty of Transdisciplinary Innovation (FTDi) offers a place for students and academics to engage in learning and research with a focus on high-level critical and creative thinking, problem solving, data and digital technologies, invention, complexity, innovation, future scenario building and entrepreneurship.

(FTDi) is recruiting for an emerging academic leader to support our activities in the transdisciplinary innovation space, in particular technology and innovation. We are looking for an ambitious and driven individual to join our dynamic team in creating amazing educational experiences and contribute to research that is addressing complex real-world issues. You will be pro-active in seeking out opportunities to incubate new approaches to industry engagement and be motivated by the greenfield opportunity presented with the continued development and growth of the Faculty of Transdisciplinary Innovation.
To be successful a successful Course Director of the Bachelor of Technology and Innovation (BTi) you will have:
- A research focus across multiple domains such as emerging technologies and / or innovation leadership in the technology sector
- Experience in growing and promoting a diverse and unique course to students
- Experience in being a leader in innovative subject development, monitoring student experience and supporting the University accreditation process
Base Salary Range: $121,469 to $155,915 pa (Level C/D)
This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary. Employee benefits include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.
The Course Director - BTi will be appointed on a 3 year fixed term basis with a substantive, continuing appointment at either level C or D.
