The Zaven & Sonia Akian College of Science and Engineering welcomes applications from well-qualified candidates for full-time faculty positions. Appointment will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor commensurate with experience. Preference is that the candidate have a background in the disciplines of Engineering and Computational Sciences. The selected candidate(s) is/are expected to help lead the launching of a new Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering Sciences, or join the existing faculty in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering and Systems Management. It is expected that the candidate(s) will also liaise with local IT internships and graduates’ employment.

We invite applications from candidates with a PhD in an engineering discipline, computer science or a closely related field, as well as experience in teaching and research, possibly with industrial applications and/or experience. Proficiency in English is required. 

We particularly welcome applicants with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Applied Statistics and Data Analysis
  • Quality Control and Management
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Production Systems Management/Analysis
  • Computer science subdisciplines such as Algorithms, Graphics and Visualization, Parallel and High-Performance Computing
  • Machine Learning, with emphasis on applications in Data Science
