The Library & Archives Service of this major international postgraduate medical school is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative library assistant to support and assist in the delivery of Library services. The successful candidate will have proven experience of working successfully in a library, and demonstrable knowledge of issues relating to the delivery of library services.
Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, and be service oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work as part of a team and the ability to take responsibility are also essential.
The position is full-time and fixed term for 12 months. The salary will be on the Professional Support Pathway Grade 3 scale in the range £24,761 - £28,053 per annum inclusive. The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year. In addition to this, there are discretionary “Director’s Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available.
