The College of Business comprises 6 Schools delivering a broad range of programs in Business, at Traineeship, Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor, Masters and PhD levels. Many programs articulate between TAFE and Higher Education, creating pathways for further study. RMIT Business programs are delivered in Melbourne, Vietnam, Singapore, Shanghai and Jakarta, as well as through Open Universities Australia (OUA) and RMIT Online.

The Role and Your Responsibilities

The Course Support Officers report to the School's Planning and Resources Manager and undertake academic administration to support the Senior Course Coordinator and Deputies. The roles are embedded within the schools and will be assigned to large and complex courses across all cohorts, locations and calendars, ensuring alignment with School, College and University objectives and plans.

There are a total of 8 positions available - there will be 4 Course Support Officers within the School of Economics, Finance and Marketing, and 1 Course Support Officer within each of the following: School of Accounting, Graduate School of Business and Law, School of Management and School of Business IT and Logistics.

Skills & Experience Required

To be considered for this opportunity you will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the tertiary education sector and the proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and systems consistently. You will have highly developed organisation, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and proven ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of management, staff and external parties on complex, sensitive and confidential issues. You will have the ability to provide advice in a professional manner and convey information to students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. Your analytical and problem solving skills as well as your ability to develop and implement innovative and creative solutions will be key to your success in this role.
