The School of Health and Biomedical Sciences comprises three Academic Clusters (Allied Health, Applied Health, and Biomedical Sciences). Primarily based at the RMIT Bundoora campus the School undertakes teaching and research across ten disciplines: Chinese Medicine, Chiropractic, Exercise Science, Human Biosciences, Laboratory Medicine, Medical Radiations, Nursing, Pharmacy, Psychology and Osteopathy. Many of the School's programs utilise Work Integrated Learning as an intrinsic part of their teaching both through placements in partner industries and through the University's student led Clinic located at Bundoora's University Hill.

The Senior Coordinator, Work Integrated Learning (WIL) will be responsible for the coordination, development, delivery and evaluation of the School's Work Integrated Learning and Student Mobility programs across a range of health related programs (Chinese Medicine, Chiropractic, Exercise Science, Laboratory Medicine, Medical Radiations, Nursing, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy and Osteopathy) working in close collaboration with Academic staff and external stakeholders.
The Senior Coordinator will oversee the Work Integrated Learning Team to ensure that the operational structure and standard procedures are in place to ensure that the accredited placement requirements for the School are met. This includes the delivery of placement management for 17 programs; approximately 2500 students; 4000 placements and 1000 industry partners.
Skills & Experience Required
You will have extensive experience in negotiating and influencing external organisations, with the ability to act strategically and provide high level advice to the School Executive, College and University regarding WIL challenges for health accredited programs. A proven experience in leading and influencing academic staff to ensure compliance for WIL and international mobility programs will be essential to your success in the role.
