Applications are invited for the temporary post of Lecturer/Assistant Professor (BDIC) within the UCD School of Economics - Beijing Dublin International College (BDIC).

Beijing University of Technology (BJUT) and University College Dublin (UCD) have agreed to work towards the establishment of a new world-class institution of higher education. The Beijing-Dublin International College (BDIC) is a recognised College of BJUT and UCD, offering a range of dual degrees including a BSc in Economics and Finance. 

The School of Economics is recruiting a lecturer to deliver modules in the BSc in Economics and Finance at BDIC.  In addition, the post-holder will be asked to lecture at UCD and will be expected to support and develop the School’s research activities. 

Note:  Representatives of the School of Economics will be available to meet with potential candidates at the ASSA Meetings in Philadelphia over January 5-7, 2018 and at the RES PhD Meetings in London over 19-20 December, 2017. Lecturer/Assistant Professor (below the bar) Salary Scale: €32,820 - €57,602 per annum (Or)
Lecturer/Assistant Professor above the bar Salary Scale: €51,807 - €79,194 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
