Applications are invited for a permanent appointment as Lecturer / Assistant Professor (above the bar) in Psychology, at the UCD School of Psychology. 
Note: Subsequent temporary vacancies arising within 6 months of interviews may also be offered.

Applicants must have a PhD or Doctorate in psychology, and teaching and research experience relevant to the School’s current research and teaching areas. Applicants with expertise in teaching research methods and statistics, or clinical psychology will be prioritized. Successful applicants will contribute to the school’s graduate and undergraduate programmes, and to research activity within the School.

UCD is a dynamic research-intensive university that is at the forefront of research and teaching activities across a wide range of disciplines. The School of Psychology has good facilities for experimental and clinical research. Details of the UCD School of Psychology are available at http://www.ucd.ie/psychology/. The School has extensive interdisciplinary research links to a number of university teaching hospitals, (many of which are located close to the UCD campus in Belfield) and to the Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience.  We encourage applicants to familiarise themselves with the School’s areas of activity and identify how their own areas of research and teaching will complement or align with these.

Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) Salary Scale: €51,807- €79,194 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
