The Division of Marketing and Communication, located within the portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students), is responsible in raising the profile and reputation of the university, and encourage prospective students in our target markets to choose CSU. We achieve this by being collaborative, creative and responsive, working with all areas of the university and our communities to share stories and grow CSU into the future. We ensure that CSU is promoted and presented professionally and consistently in both message and design, and can provide services, advice and resources to help all staff achieve a common purpose and voice.

The International and VET marketing team, located within the Division of Marketing and Communication, is responsible for marketing and student recruitment that will raise and maintain both the national and international profile of the University.

The Marketing & Recruitment Officer in collaboration with the Associate Director, Marketing and Student recruitment (International and VET) will be responsible for the implementation and coordination of University-wide international marketing and recruitment activities, as well as coordination of VET marketing and recruitment activities in Australia. In liaison with CSU stakeholders and external parties, the Marketing & Recruitment Officer will assist in achieving an Increase in international student numbers through building brand awareness, agent management, development of target markets and identifying and assessing new opportunities in current and emerging markets, and Increase student numbers from the VET sector through implementation of marketing strategies and plans at a national, State, VET Institute and VET campus level.
