Following a recent review of BA Early Childhood and BA Education Studies, our two largest programmes in the Education Department, we are seeking to appoint a new member of staff to join an enthusiastic and highly successful Education and Early Childhood Studies team at our flagship Hendon campus.

The post will suit a highly motivated academic who is able to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels across the department as well as make a positive contribution to the research profile of the Department and University. The post holder will have a main interest in Early Childhood Studies but will also be able to contribute to Education Studies. More specifically, applicants should be able to demonstrate specialist knowledge in two or more of the following areas:

  • The physical, psychological, social and emotional aspects of child development and learning,
  • knowledge and understanding of the practice and implementation of EYFS and the national primary curriculum,
  • experience and knowledge of leadership and management in Early Years or educational contexts

An enhanced DBS check will be required once in post.
