At BU our vision is to create a stimulating, challenging and rewarding University experience, through sharing a unique fusion of education, research and professional practice and inspiring our students and staff to enrich the world. Our highly skilled and creative workforce is comprised of individuals drawn from a broad cross section of the globe, and who reflect a variety of backgrounds, talents, perspectives and experiences to build our global learning community.

We are seeking an exceptional candidate with the expertise, skills and personal attributes to bring inspirational leadership and strategic direction to the Student Administration team within Academic Services.

You will lead the delivery of user-focused, integrated services which support the University’s vision and strategic priorities. You will have a professional background in Higher Education and significant experience at a senior level of strategic leadership and management in a similar student and academic administration or registry context. Your leadership of the next phase in the development of our student records system (SITS) is a priority, where the focus will be on driving further enhancements to the student experience and maximising system effectiveness for staff. You will therefore have experience of taking a lead role in the management and development of complex, institutional-wide student record systems, and a track record of continuous enhancement and innovation in this field.

You should have an excellent knowledge and understanding of relevant sector developments together with substantial experience of leading process improvements that deliver efficiencies and transform service delivery.  Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills are essential as well as the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and partners.
