The successful applicant will possess the depth and breadth of specialist knowledge in order to teach and support learning in this academic area (demonstrated by a PhD in general biomedical or physiological sciences with anatomy. As an applicant, you will have a consistent track record of excellent teaching across a variety of modules and levels within your discipline as might be expected of an experienced educator, of evidence of potential teaching excellence, if you are starting to develop your education portfolio. You will use a range of delivery techniques to enthuse and engage students. 

The successful applicant will develop and personally deliver teaching sessions for students whilst also contributing to the development of life sciences in relation to human anatomy and physiology content within our curriculums. 

The post will include the design, development and delivery of a range of modules or programmes at various levels; applying innovative and appropriate teaching techniques; participating in and developing external networks; identifying sources of funding and securing funds for own scholarly activities and providing academic leadership to those working within programme areas.  Staff at the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer level are expected to work towards Fellow/Senior Fellow/Principal Fellow of the HEA as appropriate and to attend formal CPD relating to this.

The starting salary will be from £34,520 - £42,418 on Grade F up to £42,418 - £49,149 to Grade G, depending on level of appointment based on qualifications and experience.
