The Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Lecturer who will be expected to make a solid contribution to teaching and learning ‎in the Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced, a fully online 4th year accredited course in psychology and to inspire and motivate students throughout their learning experience.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the online supervision and teaching of students, including the marking and moderation of assessed tasks. You will also be liaising closely with course convenors, unit coordinators, and assistant coordinators in delivering course content and following appropriate practices and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum Masters level qualification in psychology, or equivalent (such as 2 years of PhD study, or significant teaching experience within the discipline).

Your strong verbal and written communication skills, understanding of online teaching and learning platforms and your ability to stimulate, actively engage and educate a given audience will make you an extremely attractive candidate, and we welcome your application.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
