Based at the University’s Kensington Campus
Salary range £39,800 to £46,100 per annum plus excellent benefits
Richmond, The American International University in London, is seeking to appoint an outstanding Associate Professor of Marketing who will also act as Programme Director of the new MA Luxury Brand Management. This is an exciting new MA programme due to be launched in September 2018 in conjunction with the Conde Nast College of Fashion. Richmond is a unique institution, offering 4-year BA and BSc liberal arts degrees to students from over 60 countries from its main campuses in Richmond and Kensington, as well as an innovative suite of postgraduate programmes.
With a record of academic achievement and a well-established international profile within the UK or international business and management community, the successful candidate will act as MA Programme Director and will have responsibility for leading and developing the Programme at a key stage in strategic development. The Associate Professor and MA Programme Director will work with colleagues to deliver the highest levels of student experience, research, and public engagement and will represent and promote the Richmond Business School MA Luxury Brand Management both nationally and internationally. The successful candidate will be able to deliver courses across a range of subject areas including Strategic Brand Management, Fashion and Luxury Brands, Consumer Culture Theory, Marketing Management and Luxury Brand Management.
Reporting to the Dean of Richmond Business School, the Associate Professor and MA Director must have the ability to create effective relationships with colleagues and the business community. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who wants to make their mark in a demanding but rewarding role. By the nature of the duties of this position, there is a requirement for occasional travel in the UK and worldwide.
The position of Associate Professor of Marketing is permanent subject to satisfactory completion of a one-year, probationary period. Richmond is an equal opportunities employer.
