Location: University Park
Salary: £17,399 to £20,624 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited to the above role to provide essential basic support to research and teaching laboratories in the School of Life Sciences to support the safe and effective operation of research and teaching activities. This role involves receiving goods into the School, checking that deliveries are correct, storing the items appropriately and informing end users of the need to collect. In addition, the role holder will also safety-test new electrical items that come in to the School. The role involves a moderate amount of physical activity, including lifting, carrying and moving materials and equipment in addition to I.T. literacy. The role holder will also provide a range of technical support activities for the School carrying out routine tasks as required.
Candidates must have a good general education evidenced by a minimum of two A-levels, or equivalent, in relevant subjects or previous experience in a relevant role.
This is a part time (15 hours per week), permanent role.
