Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Nursing, to commence as soon as possible for three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in cancer/molecular biology/virology. Preference will be given to those with research experience in Epstein-Barr virus infection, cellular biology, including cell culture, transfection, live cell imaging, functional studying of signal transduction pathways. A good publication track record is necessary. The appointee will join a dynamic research group to conduct research projects related to nasopharyngeal carcinoma. A main focus of his/her work will be on cellular signaling pathways regulating the persistent infection of Epstein-Barr virus in nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells. He/She should be passionate and enthusiastic, able to show initiative and work independently while maintaining the smooth running of a research laboratory.
