The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is a world-leading centre for research and postgraduate education in public and global health. The post holder will work as part of the Governance and Executive Services Team to support the Registrar & Secretary and the Chief Operating Officer. The post holder will get first hand insight to the working of a member of Senior Leadership Team through diary management, administrative and project support. The School is looking to recruit an innovative and highly motivated individual for the School’s Governance and Executive Services Team.
This ideal candidate will be self-motivated, innovative, and have aspirations to progress in Higher Education and beyond. The post holder will have excellent organisation and interpersonal skills and able to command the trust and confidence of stakeholders. The ability to think ahead and demonstrate effective problem solving skills is essential, as is the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks and a challenging workload. The ideal candidate will have an interest in the Higher Education sector with a commitment to making a positive impact. Further particulars are included in the attached job description.
The post is full-time and permanent. The salary will be on the Professional Support Pathway 4 scale in the range £28,751 to £32,705 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Director’s Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London, Keppel Street.
