The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity for someone with an educational background in psychology and experience in the online education space to join a passionate and innovative team here at Monash. This is a new role and the successful candidate will be instrumental in creating new content (e.g. activities, videos, simulations, assignment topics, exam questions) and finding new and innovative ways to use technology to improve the engagement, academic and community experience of fully online students within the online Graduate Diploma in Psychology.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for writing and creating new content to increase engagement and enhance the student learning experience in the fully online mode. You will also develop and maintain collaborative relationships with appropriate University and external bodies (eg faculty multimedia team) for expert consultation and use of resources and conduct research to identify best practice teaching and engagement methods from the literature and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies implemented.
