Student Recruitment Officer
Classification: ANU Officer Grade 6/7 (Administration)
Salary package: $77,408 - $89,370 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full time, Continuing
Student Recruitment is responsible for the attraction of students to ANU. The Student Recruitment Officer plays a key role in developing and implementing marketing /communication strategies to convert students into programs at all levels within the ANU.
The successful applicant will need to have a sound understanding of effective outreach strategies, an appreciation of the characteristics of key markets and preferably a background in higher education. This on going role will combines face to face contact with potential students where you can showcase your communication skills with project coordination. We're looking for someone to be a part of our busy team and play a central role in actively contributing to the Division's outreach planning. This role will suit someone who has skills and experience in event coordination, project management, creation of communication strategies and public speaking.
A knowledge of ANU programs, admission requirements and structure is a requirement of the role and will need to be developed quickly, with appropriate training and development opportunities provided to the successful applicant. You will also need to be available to travel regularly, hold - a valid Australian drivers licence and be eligible for, and obtain a Working With Vulnerable People card on your appointment.
