The School of Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronic and Biomedical Engineering, which is one of the top 10 Engineering Schools in Australia, is committed to research and teaching excellence through its world-class undergraduate and postgraduate programs in a range of exciting technological areas.
The Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences is a research intensive Faculty with extensive teaching operations in Australia, Asia and the Middle East. It has approx. 5000 undergraduate & postgraduate students onshore and offshore, and approximately 353 academic/research/professional staff.
This position will play a key role in strengthening the research and teaching of the School of Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronic and Biomedical Engineering in the field of Engineering Management. As well as enhancing the reputation and research capability of UOW in this field and increasing the perceived value of the discipline in the professional community.
This position will teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in areas of Engineering Management such as, but not limited to, Project Management, Strategic Management, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Design Management, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Asset Management, Professional Practice and Placement, Construction Management and Structures. It is also expected that this position will establish a vigorous research program, contribute significantly to the development of our research capability in Engineering Management and play an important role in the development of the teaching and research programs at the University of Wollongong.
