The Role & Responsibilities

The School is seeking a highly motivated person to undertake the role of Program Manager, for the next three years*. This position is to manage the Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural) an AQF, level 6 qualification. The program has an established team that delivers distinctive and leading education and training.

Skills & Experience Required

It is expected that you will have the capacity to effectively lead and manage teams in the design, implementation and evaluation of innovative teaching practice, teaching materials, products and services and possess a deep understanding of related contemporary design practice.

Candidates must hold a current Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (TAE40110), a professional teaching qualification, defined as a qualification at Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 6 Diploma or above which includes supervised teaching practice and studies in teaching methodology or equivalent qualification accepted by the University.

Candidates must also hold an AQF level 7 Bachelor Degree in a related discipline or an ability to establish equivalence to this level. Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children Check.

*This fixed term appointment includes an underlying continuing teacher position which will be effective at the conclusion of the fixed term appointment.
