About the role

The Marketing team is responsible for motivating and engaging targeted external audiences by identifying, bringing to life and effectively expressing our brand position through a variety of channels in the most inspiring, impactful and engaging way.

As our team grows, we are looking for a talented and experienced individual to lead the marketing function at a strategic and operational level to meet our ambitious targets, attract new audiences and help us build quality and diversity in our student population. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and International, and senior executive teams, you will be involved with new strategic initiatives as well as delivering clear marketing strategies for our current and future portfolio of degree programmes.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate a strong commercial focus, a leadership style that is collaborative with a real desire to deliver excellent service to internal stakeholders and external audiences.
As we grow our teams, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate positive change within teams, empower our talent to work together, and align our marketing function to be effective, efficient and a beacon of excellence in the Higher Education sector.

You will have:

  • Track record of devising and implementing effective communications and marketing strategies
  • Experience in education, consumer or services businesses both B2C and B2B
  • Track record of leading and managing a high performing marketing function
  • A sound understanding of how to deliver international and national marketing and brand campaigns
  • Excellent knowledge and insight of our target audiences
  • An understanding of the culture of higher education and how to achieve tangible results
