Salary:     £29,799 to £38,833 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above post to support the work of the Manager for Off Campus Student Affairs, the University’s wider strategy for engagement with the local community and the management of student life in areas neighbouring its campuses.

Working closely with the University’s Manager for Off Campus Student Affairs, the post will develop and deliver strategies aimed at managing the University’s relationships with local stakeholders. The successful candidate will ensure effective liaison and co-operation with different agencies, community groups and individuals, with a view to maintaining and enhancing the University's standing as a responsible institution.

The successful candidate will also act as Deputy Warden at accommodation at Raleigh Park and St Peter’s Court (approx 1,800 students), working with a team of resident tutors to provide pastoral support and promote good conduct.

Educated to degree level, the successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to represent the University to its local communityand have experience of working with a range of stakeholders. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent project management, communication in particular social media and people management skills and be able to influence people within the University and other organisations.

The role is full time and varied and a flexible approach is needed as the successful candidate will be required to attend evening meetings and occasional weekend activities.

This maternity cover post will be offered from 5th February 2018 to 4th February 2019.
