About the job
The Regional Tutor is responsible for providing high quality teaching and learning experiences for students enrolled into College programs in the regions. As a Regional Tutor, you will contribute to student support as well as quality assurance and improvement. You will play a role in the growth of the College programs through promoting and representing the programs within and external to the University and for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with external stakeholders and communities.
Please note, it is a requirement that applicants reside in the regional area for which they are applying. Rural travel is also anticipated.
Skills and Experience
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications, together with demonstrated ability and experience in using a range of contemporary approaches to deliver teaching materials, and implement grade moderation and student consultation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a demonstrated understanding of the challenges associated with geographically distributed teams, and an ability to adopt a problem-solving approach to effective program delivery are also essential for this role.

UniSA College is responsible for the university’s pre-degree and pathway programs for Australian students. These programs support access and transition into degree level study for students who, for a variety of factors, have not previously pursued university studies, harnessing their aspirations for lifelong learning and demonstrating that university is a real option.
