Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Pure and Applied Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics, to commence on August 1, 2018, or as soon as possible thereafter for one year, with the possibility of renewal for up to two years subject to satisfactory performance. An earlier start date can be discussed if a successful candidate finds it desirable.

Applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree before the start date of appointment. Preference will be given to those who have obtained their Ph.D. degrees within the last 6 years and whose research interests and expertise are related to Partial Differential Equations. The appointee is expected to conduct research and teach one course in the first year. There will be NO teaching duty in the second year.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
