HEW 8, $89,519 - $100,811plus 17% employer superannuation contribution. This is a fixed term 12 months(maternity cover) contract. The role is full time, but fractional appointments of at least 0.6EFT,will be considered.

About the Role

As an integral part of Victoria University’s legal team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders under the guidance of a Senior Lawyer. The advice will cover a range of topics from general commercial activities, student-related issues, policy, and privacy and compliance matters. It will also involve drafting of precedents.

About the Person

With a legal qualification and at least three years post admission experience, you will also hold a Victorian Practising Certificate or be eligible to obtain one. You will be known for your resilience, sense of humour, and your ability to get the job done in a complex organisational environment in which flexibility and a practical approach will be key. A natural team player with a positive attitude, you will also be able to work independently in this interesting and challenging role.
